 self assessment services

why you need to  do  a self assessment

More than 11.5 million people in the UK are required to file a self assessment. It is vital to report accurate information to HMRC regarding your individual income to allow for correct calculation of income tax.
However, self assessments do not always result in a tax liability, sometimes people submit self assessments to reclaim tax overpaid.

Who needs to file a self assessment?

You will likely need to file a tax return if you:
  • Are self-employed
  • Are a company director
  • Earn over £100,000 a year
  • Have savings or investment income of more than £10,000 before tax
  • Receive income from abroad
  • Are the highest earner in a family claiming child benefit, if you earn over £50,000
  • Earned £2,500 or more in untaxed income, e.g. renting out a property

how we can help your business

Many people find the process of completing a self assessment daunting and rather complicated. We aim to eliminate any worry by preparing and submitting the data to HMRC on your behalf, making the task as smooth running and stress-free as possible.

We pride ourselves in offering a friendly, approachable service suited to you individually. Many people prefer the traditional approach of dropping off any paperwork, others prefer a more digital method. Either is fine with us, we are here to help and make accounting as easy for you as possible.
